Galileo Satellite Control Systems were invited to present and demonstrate their Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking and Monitoring solution at the Philippine National Police’s Headquarters in Camp Crame during their 4th Anniversary of their Directorate for Information Communication and Technology Management (PNP-DICTM).
Galileo Satellite Control Systems presented their Galileo WebTrack Tracking Platform, a web-based software which visualizes the vehicles and other asset’s whereabouts in real-time. The Galileo WebTrack Tracking Platform, unlike ordinary GPS tracking systems, can integrate other types of GPS devices to work with their software enabling clients to use different types of GPS trackers for use in vehicles, motorcycles, ships, and aircraft, thus simplifying monitoring of all assets into one familiar tracking platform.
According to Carlo Rafael A. Torres, Owner of Galileo Satellite Control Systems. By adopting a ‘Device Agnostic’ approach this reduces the cost overhead of having several different software for tracking different types of devices which come in the form of a simplified licensing – in which you don’t have to pay for additional software, simplified use – you can use one computer to monitor everything, simplified user experience – you only need a few people to train because the system in use is the same, and business continuity – our clients don’t have to worry if old devices are no longer manufactured because they can get new ones and have them working on the platform that same way as the old devices did.
The event was graced by the Chief of the Philippine National Police, General Alan Purisima who gave a opening speech at Camp Crame’s Multipurpose Hall.
Galileo Satellite Control Systems, being the only Cebu-based GPS Solutions Provider were given a Certificate of Recognition officially handed out by DICTM – Chief, Director Angelito Pacia to Mr. Carlo Rafael A. Torres, Galileo Satellite Control Systems – Owner, for attending the said event.
